A plan that grows with you.
This is your living development plan for the whole apprenticeship. Rate your confidence against every knowledge, skill and behaviour in the standard, set goals that close the gaps, and return here every quarter with your skills coach to review, re-rate and sign. It remembers everything, and shows you how far you've come.
Four moves, every quarter.
Scan yourself honestly
Rate your confidence 1 to 4 against every KSB in the standard. Your baseline is the map. Nobody starts at 4.
Set goals that close gaps
Turn your lowest ratings and starred priorities into a handful of specific goals, each linked to the KSBs it develops.
Do the work
Use your shifts, your projects and your off-the-job hours. The scan suggests work-based learning projects that evidence each KSB.
Review and sign
Every quarter, sit down with your skills coach: re-rate the scan, review the goals, record the conversation and both sign it off.
This is a living document. It saves automatically in this browser as you type. Before you close a review meeting, use Save file to download a progress file. It is your portable backup, and how you move the plan between devices or share it with your skills coach. Print · PDF produces the designed record for your portfolio, front cover included. In the print dialog, choose Save as PDF as the destination to keep it as a PDF.
Where I'm heading.
Written by you, in your own words, and revisited at every review. Ambition gives the plan its direction; the KSBs give it its route.

The standard, measured.
Every knowledge, skill and behaviour statement in the standard, rated by you at every review point. Star the ones you and your skills coach agree to prioritise, then map them to the goals that will close them.
Ratings are self-assessment, agreed in conversation with your skills coach at each review. They guide the plan; your portfolio remains the evidence. The small dots under each statement show your rating at every review point, oldest first: your direction of travel, at a glance.
Goals that close the gaps.
A few goals, precisely aimed, beat a long wish-list. Link each goal to the KSBs it develops, break it into actions, and give it a target review. Your skills coach will hold you to these, which is the point.
The baseline recordOpen
This is the record that learning began. It is completed with your skills coach at your induction session, dated and signed by you both, and it is the starting position every later review is measured against. Once it is signed, changes belong in the next review rather than in a rewrite of this one.
The conversation, on record.
Each quarter: re-rate the scan for that review point, then record the conversation here and both sign. The snapshot line is calculated live from your scan and goals: the story of the quarter in numbers.
